We have a new filly added to our herd and we are very pleased to introduce her to you! From the first look I had on her first photo's I knew that this was a unique girl and I was immediately in love with her! Can she be even more special? She is completely black with two blue eyes! And yes, I've managed to ad this dreamcatcher to my herd! And she really is a dreamcatcher, or should we say an eye catcher! Here she is, our Dreamcatcher It's Midnight Cinderella!
And what a lovely name she has! It fits perfectly with her! Her name was well thought out by her breeder Anja from Dreamcatchers Minipaarden from the Netherlands!
This little lady really does have the "look-at-me attitude" with her beautiful blue eyes that draws immediate everyone's attention. But not only her appearance is top, many other things just make the picture complete! Above all she is beautiful and built correctly, with beautiful long legs, nice topline and a very dishy head. She also has great movements, always with her tail above, just like a mini-arab! I expect that she will remain bellow 80 cm, because her parents are both 78 cm wide. And behind this all a pedigree to be proud of: 9 generations and 149 AMHA horses far behind! From fokzekerheid spoken! Currently the color test still pending, but soon we will know what color dna Cinderella is carrying.
Sire Het Veldhuis Don Diego de la Vega, is a beautiful black and white tobiano stallion. He is only 78 cm, but already known very well in the miniature horse world. He won at NMPRS a 1A premium and already the majority of his progeny achieved a first premium at NMPRS. He is a very good quality producer! Don Diego comes mainly from the legendary Bond Showboy lines, this stallion has 81 registered AMHA descendants, including many notable names including Cinderella's ancestor Bond Snippet. He was one of the most successful sons of Bond Showboy and got the following titles to his palmeras: General AMHA Reserve World Champion, World Champion Senior Stallion AMHA World Champion Get-of-Sire (best producing stallion) and AMHA High Point Stallion. Bond Snippet did scored well in the color classes of the AMHA. We also find back Sooner States Bit O Honey in Don Diego his bloodline. This stallion was World Grand Champion Sire, World Grand Champion Grandsire, AMHA World High Point Yearling Stallion, AMHA Superior Halter Horse, AMHA World Champion Get of Sire, AMHA World Futurity Nominated Sire and AMHR National Futurity Nominates Sire, an incredible track record! Further on we find First Knight's Bit-o-White Lightening back, who was in 1992 AMHA National Top Ten Jr. Stallion and also First Knights Sir Snippet, who was Multible World Champion Halter Stallion. A pedigree full of champions!
Dam NXS I'm a Dreamcatcher too (abbreviated Toet) is a smokey black splash overo mare with a great color pattern who is also descended from some big names like Bond Darin Duffy and Oak Forest Wild Streak from who she probably got the splash gene. She is also only 78 cm high, but this mare can move! Every time you see her trotting, she let you see that wonderful moment of suspension! We hope that she has passed this on to Cinderella and it provisionally looks that way, because little Cinderella has also great movements!
Cinderella is also tested on her colour. The results: Spl/N - sorrel: E/e - agouti: a/a.
