By coincidence we came to this little lady! When our friends of stal Laureas purchased a new horse , we were looking for some information about the sire of this horse , namely Brookhaven Eagles Dark N Defiant. And so we came to visit the site of Pene Mason: American Miniature Horses UK. We saw one of her foals that was just two weeks old and was a daughter of Defiant . And we fell in love ! She was simply our dream horse: a beautiful black tovero girl with blue eyes and a cute lovely blaze ! And then also with a pedigree to dream of. The decision was made quickly !
Rebels sire is Brookhaven Eagles Dark N Defiant, a beautiful homozygous black pinto stallion . Defiant is AMHA / AMHR and NMPRS approved. He comes from a proven bloodline with all champion horses . He was showed lightly in America, then he was flown to the Netherlands. His sire is the Top Ten Futurity Sire Fallen Ash Farms Eagle Scout, the firstborn son of L&D Scout, de eerstgeboren zoon van Orion Light van het Huttenest. Both Eagle Scout , L & D Scout as Orion Light are multi World Champion producing stallions !
Defiant his mother is the well known mare Martins Boozers Dark N Dreamy. She is the full sister to the World Champion Martins Boozer After Dark. A number of full siblings of Defiant were World Champion and World Champion producers . All the foals of Dark N Dreamy achieved good results in the show ring.
Rebels mother is the beautiful black splash mare Reeces Indigo Blue Thunder.
Indy has an impressive pedigree : her father is the black splash overo stallion Reeces Thunder Hawk, also a son of the well-known 4 GS Little Kings Alfalfa Pleasure. Which is in turn a son of Little Kings Alfalfa Please. Reeces Thunder Hawk is a National Champion that has produced many Grand and Supreme Champions. His father Alfalfa Pleasure is a Reserve World Champion Get of Sire and has many World Champions , Reserve World Champions and many World Top Ten horses. He was also a Top Ten Leading Futurity Sire.
Indy's mother Lucky Four Rebels Indigo Blue, is a daughter of Sids Rebel from a Roan Ranger mother. Sids Rebel is the father of many National Futurity Champions , National Champions and Top Ten Winners. He himself is a Reserve National Champion Get of Sire.
Rebels color-dna : Agouti: a/a - Red Factor: E/e - Frame Overo: n/LWO and Tobiano: n/TO what means she is a black tovero horse. She has black as base color and carries the frame overo gene and the pinto gene.
Rebel herself is really something special : she is built correctly with the right proportions , long and slender legs , a beautiful neckline and an arabic head ! She has good movements and in color and she is perfection itself : her markings are very proportional , she has a beautifully symmetrical blaze and blue eyes ! Truly a dream horse !
Rebel is registered with the AMHA , AMHR , BMP and NMPRS .
We expect , given the number of champions among her ancestors , that Rebel will do it quite well in the show ring . Hopefully we here have a champion in the making !
